| Merle Orpha Francis, 91, of Edgewater, Florida, formerly of Calhoun County, West Virginia, passed away April 10, 2009.
She was born at Fairview, Calhoun County, was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Eleanor Davis of Painesville, Ohio and Paulette Still of Edgewater; 3 sons, Encil Francis, Robert Francis and William Francis all of Edgewater; 1 sister, Nellie Six; 23 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Francis; 1 daughter, June Corbett; 1 son, Howard Francis; 3 infant children, Robert Delano Francis, Pauline Francis, and Bernard Francis.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 15 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Thomas McFadden will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Grantsville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
