Nola M. Johnston, 50, of Mt. Zion, WV died Friday, January 18, 2002 at Medical College of
Virginia, Richmond Virginia.
She was a daughter of William H. Meadows of Pleasant Hill and Retta J. Richards of Mt. Zion.
She was a member of the Brooksville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jamie Johnston of Big Bend, WV; her son, Ronnie Sidwell of
Millstone, WV; two daughters, Carla Sidwell of Arnoldsburg, WV and Retta Harris of Richmond,
VA; two brothers, William Meadows and Johnnie Meadows both of Parkersburg, WV; a sister,
Ada Smith of Parkersburg, and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Johnston was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Meadows.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV, on Wednesday, January
23 at 2 p.m. Reverend Jerry Scott will officiate. Interment will be in the Hunt Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m.
