Charles Roy Richards, 61, of Mt. Zion, WV, died Wednesday, January 16, 2002 at Minnie
Hamilton Health Care Center, Grantsville, WV.
He was a son of the late Desmoin and Maggie Norman Richards.
Mr. Richards is survived by one son, Charles Richards, Jr. and his wife Amanda of Big Springs,
WV; two granddaughters, Alexia and Brogan Richards; two step-grandsons, Kyler and Mason
Propst; three brothers, Larry Richards and Ronzel Richards both of Big Bend, WV, and Denver
Richards of Grantsville, WV; three sisters, Dessel Starcher of Barberton, Ohio; Patty Knight of
Parkersburg, WV and Sadie Cunningham of Parkersburg.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ola Triplett and Dottie Richards in addition to his
parents.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville Sunday, January 20, 2002 at
12 noon. Reverends Carroll McCauley and Roger Carter will officiate. Interment will be in the
Fairview Cemetery, Norman Ridge. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
