The Calhoun Commission will begin Monday working on the annual budget for the county, with a budget planning meeting scheduled between 10-11 a.m.
Additional budget meetings have been scheduled for March 16 and 26.
The commission just completed six regular and special meetings in February, most directed toward allowing citizens to have their tax issues heard.
During the regular meeting at 9 a.m., a report will be given regarding progress with the Mt. Zion PSD's right-of-way acquisition for the county's $5.2 million public water project.
There will be discussion regarding the combining of the county's E-911 Directors job, with OES Director and the Flood Plain Coordinator.
A new testing date for deputy sheriff's applicants has been set for March 26.
A number of appointments and approvals for boards and authorities are on the agenda.
