Mildred I. Yoak, 90, of Parkersburg, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday evening, March 1, 2009.
She was born in Arnoldsburg, W.Va., and lived most of her life in Calhoun County, where she was a homemaker and worked as a kindergarten aide for a number of years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Vienna.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Nedeff of Renton, Wash., Bob Yoak and his wife, Lisa, of Ellenboro and Jim Yoak and his wife, Darlene, of Davisville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Murl Runnion of St. Marys.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Yoak Jr. in 1988; her mother, Annie McKee (Moneypenny); brother, Clark Stalnaker; and son-in-law, Tom Nedeff.
She chose to donate her body to the Human Gift Registry at Marshall University.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Faith Baptist Church, 1103 10th St., Vienna.
