| Eight Calhoun Middle School students will be participating in the Walton Youth Basketball Tournament Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7.
The tournament will be held at Walton Middle School starting at 6 p.m. Friday and will run most of the day Saturday.
The tournament is double elimination, Calhoun will play Saturday whether they win or lose on Friday night.
These athletes all played on the CMS boys basketball team and have chosen to continue to represent Calhoun in the post season in this tournament. They will be coached by Mike Sims, who is also sponsoring the team.
Players participating in the tournament are, Sam Brady, Tyler Tanner, William Baker, Tyler Gerwig, Luke Sheldon, Tyler Sims, Lucas Wilson and Kirkland Allen.
