| Delphia Gay Nicholas Rogers, 89, of Harrisville, W.Va., departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at Parkersburg.
Mrs. Rogers was born on April 19, 1919, on Bear Run near Grantsville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ascoe and Dora Cottrill Nicholas. She was a homemaker and a Jehovah's Witness.
She is survived by daughters, Jo Gill of Clarksburg, W.Va., Jean Lane of Parkersburg, Leona "Kokomo" Stull, Mary "Katie" Goff and Jane Rogers, all of Harrisville; 34 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Rogers; son, Robert J. Rogers; daughter, Judith Ann Baker; three brothers; one sister; and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, with interment in the Bethany Cemetery near Smithville in Ritchie County, W.Va. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
