Coach Stump (center) receives award

HUNTINGTON - Calhoun Red Devil wrestling coach Mike Stump was presented with a special award at the beginning of wrestling action on Friday night at the West Virginia State Wrestling Tournament held at the Big Sandy Arena.
Stump was named the 2008 sectional coach of the year for the Mid-East region which includes West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Ohio, Pennsylvania and District of Columbia.
Stump's illustrious and award-winning career as a wrestling coach in Calhoun County has spanned 32 years.
