The Calhoun Magistrate Court reports one misdemeanor case, charging Chris Collins
for battery on January 10, 2002 with arrest by Chief Charles McCroskey. He was
arraigned by video conference, $500 surety bond and released.
Orders issued by the Honorable Thomas C. Evans III in Calhoun County Circuit Court,
the week of January 7-11, 2001:
State of WV vs. Michael David Badgett - Court ordered the case continued until May 8,
2002 at 9 a.m. for return of indictment, the defendant's bond continued until his
appearance and upon the special condition the defendant remain totally law
abiding.
State of WV vs. Joshua David Bond - Court recognized the completion of defendant's
program at Anthony Center, found that the defendant be placed on two years
probation, shall make restitution, obtain a job and numerous other probation
conditions.
State of WV vs. John F. Fisher - Court continued case until May 8, 2002 at 9 a.m. for
presentment to a Grand Jury.
State of WV vs. Jeremy Ray Collins - Court continued case to February 11, 2002 for
return of indictment and ordered defendant's bond continued.
State of WV vs. Jeremy Ray Collins - Court announced indictment returned against
him, set bond at $10,000 to secure appearance, stating the defendant shall not
violate laws or leave the state without permission.
State of WV vs. Scotty Lynn Knight - Court announced an indictment returned against
him, bond set at $5,000. Case continued until February 11, 2002 for arraignment and
pre-trail motions.
State of WV vs. David Scott Starkey - Court announced indictment returned against
him, bond set at $5,000. Case continued until February 11, 2002 for arraignment,
motion hearing and status conference.
State of WV vs. Sammie Dale Hall - Court announced indictment returned against him,
the case continued until March 11, 2002 for the first criminal case to be tried. Bond
set at $20,000 to secure appearance. Record states in default of bond, defendant is
remanded to the custody of the Sheriff for confinement.
State of WV vs. Justin Snider - The defendant pled guilty to two counts of giving false
information and one count of DUI, second offense, and one count of driving on a
revoked license. Counsel moved to dismiss the indictment, defendant released from
his bond, the court stayed execution and enforcement.
State of WV vs. Russell Lee Collins - Case ordered to be continued until February 11,
2002.
State of WV vs. Calvin Lee Ferrell - Case ordered to be continued until May 7, 2002 for
presentment to the Grand Jury. |
