| Denzil Reed McKown, 76, of North Royalton, Ohio, formerly of Calhoun County, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 9, 2009, at Parma Hospital after a long illness.
He was born September 25, 1932, a son of the late Norman and Anna McKown.
He was a US Army Veteran, a retired employee of Geneal Motors of Parma, Ohio, and a member of the Hillview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jacquelyn Sue Chenoweth McKown; two sons, Gregory McKown of North Royalton, Ohio, and Christopher McKown and wife Jacquie, of Bay Village, Ohio. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Denny, Max, Ivana, Justin, and Sam; one sister and her husband, Ruby and Bill Laughlin of Arnoldsburg, WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters; Opal Burgess, Hazel Roach, and Elsie Mace; one infant brother, Charles McKown.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home at 18149 E. Bagley Road, Middleburg Heights, Ohio, with the Rev. Franklin Brown officiating. Interment will be in the Eastlawn Cemetery in Brunswick, Ohio.
