| Geneva Violet Heiney Snider, 91, passed away February 8, 2009 at the home of her daughter, Doris J. Davis, in Spencer, West Virginia.
She is survived by a son, James F. Snider of Brady Lake, Ohio; 3 daughters, Doris J. Davis of Spencer, Sandra Ferrebee of Castalia, NC, and Wanda Crawford of Louisburg, NC; 21 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Harry Heiney of Ravenna, Ohio and Charles Heiney of Grantsville, WV; 5 sisters, Lela Reeder, Juanita Reynolds, and Grace Wilson all of Parkersburg, WV, Ellinor Clarcia of Aurora, Ohio, and Louise Newbrough of Grantsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Retta Jane Hosey Heiney; her husband, James Lester Snider; sons, E. Ray Snider and Andrew Lee Snider; infant daughter, Joanne Snider; infant granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn Alderman; sister, Rachel Marie Heiney Mascoline; brothers, Denver, Glen, Donald and Vear Heiney.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 10 at Stump Funeral Home. Grantsville. Rev. Ken Heiney will officiate. Interment will be in the Betts Cemetery, Grantsville.
