| Larry Cottrell 63, of Palestine, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at St Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.
He was born in Calhoun County the son of the Late Woodrow And Ocie Parsons Cottrell. He was a 1965 graduate of Wirt County High School, retired from International Converter Inc. of Belpre Ohio, and was Independent Full Gospel by Faith.
He was survived by his wife of 45 years Darlene Buffington Cottrell; 4 children, Larry Lean (Kerry) Cottrell of Elizabeth, WV,
Darren Lane (Sue Fryman) of Lubeck, WV, Angela Dawn McMullen (Jason Pettrey) of Palestine, Dusten Shawn Cottrell of Palestine; 6 grandchildren, Lacey and Kyle Windland, Bridget McMullen, Keila Pettrey, Austin and Emily Cottrell; 2 brothers Stanley (Louise) Cottrell of Elizabeth, twin brother Jerry (Sue) Cottrell of Palestine; 2 sisters Geraldine (Arden) Bailey of Newark WV, Sharon (Gary) Burnside of Elizabeth; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 8 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home with the Pastor William Cottrell and Pastor Jerry Cottrell officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of the service on Sunday.
Interment will be at Mt. William Cemetery in Blue Goose, WV
