| Dorothy M. Keen, 66, of Newton, West Virginia, died Sunday, January 25, 2009, in the CAMC-Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
She was born January 12, 1943, in Brewton, Alabama, a daughter of the late Homer and Letha Dawson Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jimmie Cahoon; a brother, Pete Webb; a niece, Renee Webb.
Dorothy loved life, family and friends. She was loving and caring. She was a licensed hair dresser.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Alton C. Keen, Jr. of Newton; a grandson, Billy Cahoon, Jr. of Portsmouth, VA; a sister, Ann Chance of Brewton, AL; a sister-in-law, Lena Webb of Sugarland, TX; several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy has been cremated. There was no visitation or service.
Memorial donations are preferred to either Make-A-Wish or St. Jude's Hospital.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.
