A Ritchie County man convicted of DUI with death has been sent to jail for one to ten years.
Intoxicated Arley Shreves, 20, hit a parked car on East South Street in Harrisville in July of 2007, killing Jeremiah Petry, 19, of Cairo. Petry was a passenger in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the accident, Shreves left the scene.
He will serve one to 10 years in prison with credit for the 467 days he has already served.
Currently in the North Central Regional Jail, he will be transfered to state prison.
