A former congressional candidate's father has died. Anne Barth's dad, the Rev. William Street, died Friday in Charleston. He was 84.
Street was married to Nancy McDonald Street, formerly of Grantsville, the daughter of one of Calhoun's favorite, long-time teachers, Louise McDonald.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home, Charleston. A celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Marks United Methodist Church. Burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Route 33 east of Ripley will follow a bereavement dinner at the church.
