Calhoun Red Devil Wrestlers placed first, for the first time ever, in the 39th Pat Vance Invitational held at Nitro High School Friday and Saturday.
Calhoun had a total of 228 points, followed by George Washington with 210 points. Twenty-two teams participated in the event.
Red Devils, Ben Laughlin and Aaron Yoak were first place wrestlers. Second place winners were, Nick Stevens, Cody Clark and Jeremy Conley. Third place winner was, Caden Arnold, fourth place winners were, Austin Moore and Sean Gungle and coming in at 6th place was Harley Hamrick.
