| Rev. Paul E. Wilson, 78, of Big Bend, West Virginia, passed away January 6, 2009 at his home.
He was born at Brohard, WV, a son of the late Dorcy and Eula Mills Wilson. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and was a retired Calhoun County bus driver. He was a well known Baptist minister for over 20 years having pastored the Strait Creek Baptist Church at Brohard, the Mt. William Baptist Church near Elizabeth, WV and Zoar Baptist Church near St. Marys, WV.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Wilson, daughter, Connie Roberts and granddaughter, Mercy Roberts all of Big Bend; one sister, Mabel Stevens of Munday, WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Steed of Parkersburg, WV.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 9 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Mike Stevens will officiate. Interment will be in the Nobe Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. |
