Preschool children preforming "The First Christmas Night"
The creatures of the forest
Submitted by Tami Allen
Arnoldsburg Elementary School presented their annual Christmas program Tuesday, to a gymnasium packed audience of family and friends. The preschoolers shared their version of the very first Christmas, and Head Start entertained the crowd dressed as reindeer.
Kindergarten through 4th grade students, directed by Mr. John Bugby and Mrs. Angie Sims, put on a musical titled, "A Rainbow Christmas."
Kindergarten students open with "Sing of Christmas Time"
Second grade students sing "This Guy's Not Right"
Fourth grade students sing "Christmas is a Rainbow"
Through music and conversation, the creatures of the forest (played by the fourth graders) learned from Santa Claus and his helpers that, just like a rainbow, the world is full of color, and we should all be able to share it.
A lot of time and hard work went in to making this year's Christmas program such a great success. Thanks to all those who volunteered to help out and to all the students for doing a wonderful job!
Third grade students sing "Black and "White"
First grade students sing "We Share the Rainbow"
The Arnoldsburg singers close the show
with "Christmas in an Elementary School"
