Heather, Ruby and Lea came over and we attended Aunt Verba's visitation. It was sad for us as we've known Aunt Verba all our lives. She stayed here at Daddy's for over 20 years. I gave her lots of perms and we played hundreds of games of dominoes. I stayed home with the babies while Heather went to the funeral the next day. Charles Haverty was there to pay respects as he, Aunt Verba, and Jessie Hicks had fun at the West Fork Sings.
Buddy Watkins' daughter Kim and his grandchildren Jessie and Shanon brought him deer to can. It was nice to meet them.
I was happy to go four wheeling one sunny afternoon to the top of a trail at Big Otter, across from Go-Mart. Temps in the 20's. I wore my Daddy's coveralls over a lot of other clothing. No reason not to see this beautiful country in the winter. We could see for miles. I loved it.
Heather, Ben, Ruby and Lea came to visit on Monday the 22nd. Heather had an appointment at Dr. Ricks in Nebo the next evening. They will be busy at relatives for the rest of the week. I love it when the whole family can be here. Ben brought his four wheeler. Even though the temperatures were in the teens. He did manage to ride for a little bit at a time.
My chickens sure act different when the weather is like this. He roosted in a big pine tree here at the house and don't know where she stayed. Wonder why they would separate. I can always tell when the weather is going to turn by watching them. Even though I don't understand it works for them and they look great.
Everyone have a wonderful week!
