Katheryn L. Kerby, Grantsville Town Council member says, "We must not let the Holiday season go by without saying 'Thanks to Darlene Rickard and her elves' for the job they did refurbishing the old Grantsville Christmas lights that had been laid aside.
In the fall of 2007 Darlene started working on them, cold weather came and they didn't get finished. But this fall, she and her helpers got busy with painting, rewiring and whatever needed to be done to make them usable.
The lights have now been finished are up for all to see in Grantsville. They are very pretty and colorful.
Again, thanks to all who had a part in making the town bright and beautiful."
