| LOGAN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT STABBED - Police in Logan County say a student was stabbed Monday during a fight at Chapmanville High School.
Chapmanville Police say two boys were fighting when one apparently pulled out a pocketknife and stabbed the other.
The principal told WSAZ that it happened in the hallway during dismissal.
Police say both boys are juveniles, with one having a history of bullying the other. When the alleged bully punched the other boy, that boy pulled out a pocketknife and stabbed the other in the neck and arm, they said.
The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital, while the suspect has been taken into custody.
Tucker says the stabbing suspect acquired the pocketknife from another student earlier in the day.
There will be a charge of malicious wounding.
SHOPPER INTERVENES IN HOLD-UP - A man accused of robbing a convenience store got more than he bargained for Sunday, when a shopper went after him.
Police say they arrested Johnny Workman after he walked into the Hatfield McCoy Quick Stop in Boone County and demanded cash.
Workman had a tire tool that he was trying to make look like a gun.
While Workman was trying to get the cash out of the register a shopper attacked him.
That fight ended with Workman biting the man and running away.
Police arrested Workman a short time later.
He has been charged with armed robbery, kidnapping and assault.
DOLLAR GENERAL ROBBED - An early morning robbery Saturday in Malden has left police searching for two suspects.
Two men walked inside the Dollar General store in Malden Saturday and pulled what looked like a gun out and demanded money.
Police are not sure how much money the suspects got away with.
MAN STABBED BY WIFE - The Monognalia County Sheriff's Department is investigating a stabbing that occured Saturday.
Deputies say 29-year-old Robert Sanders of Kingwood was stabbed by his wife, 28-year-old Yashika Sanders.
Deputies were called to Ruby Memorial Hospital after Sanders went there for treatment. Deputies say the stabbing happened in the early morning hours at Marjorie Gardens in Monongalia County.
Yashika Sanders has been arrested and is charged with malicious assault.
MOUNTWOOD PARK WOMAN SHOT - A woman was taken to an area hospital after being shot in the stomach Monday.
WTAP-TV says it happened at the Mountwood Park shooting range around 3:00 p.m.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office believes the shooting was accidental.
Officials say someone was putting a gun into a case when it went off.
Officers say the bullet shot through the case and hit the woman in the stomach.
