The Gilmer County court had re-scheduled a hearing for John Manis Richards of Grantsville for December 9, with that hearing now re-scheduled to January 6.
The case is related to an alleged theft from Hardman Supply of Glenville.
Richards' attorney has advised the court his office has burned, and the hearing is expected to be re-scheduled beyond January 6.
Calhoun Circuit Court will be convened Monday with civil and juvenile cases on the docket. Judge Thomas Evans III will be presiding over the one-day session.
