| Pleasant Hill Elementary school will be collecting non-perishable food items for the local food pantries. We will start collecting Monday the 15th. through Thursday the 18th. The class that collects the most items will win a pizza party, thanks to the PTO. Any items donated can be dropped off at Pleasant Hill School.
The first grade teachers and Title I will host a "Christmas Party" December 17 beginning at 2 p.m. for all first graders and their parents. Parents of all first graders are invited to come and enjoy cookies and punch and fun activities with their children. The Parent Resource Center will also be presenting a parent workshop.
The Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success and each classroom library grew by 15-20 books. The school would like to thank the parent volunteers for being such a tremendous help. |
