Opal Pearl Mirguet, 81, of Looneyville, died December 19, 2001, at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston.
She was born September 16, 1920, in Looneyville, a daughter of the late P. Wade and Fannie Ethel Sarver Vineyard. She was
an
executive secretary in the Bureau of Budget, Washington, D.C., and attended the Clifton Park Baptist Church, Silver Spring,
Maryland.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Mirguet of Maynard, Iowa; one son, John Mirguet of Brooklyn, NY; one sister,
Gayle Hutcherson of Fort Washington, MD.; two brothers, Ross and Ralph Vineyard, both of Looneyville; and one grandson,
Evan Chadwick.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Virgil, Coy, Hoy, Earl, and Robert Vineyard.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2001, at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, WV
with the
Rev. J. Herbert Smith officiating. Burial will be in Vineyard Cemetery, Looneyville, at a later date. The body was
cremated.
