| Olena M. Ball, 77, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away November 26, 2008 at her home following an extended illness.
Born March 20, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Holly and Effie McWilliams Vannoy. She was a member of the Lower Run Baptist Church and was a homemaker and currently a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Adrian K. Ball; a daughter, Wanda Ruple of Charlotte, NC; a son, Steven Ball of Willowick, OH; brothers, Clarence Vannoy of Little Hocking, OH, Garry Vannoy of Grantsville, WV, Harry Vannoy of Mentor, OH, and Bernard Vannoy of Philadelphia, PA; sisters, Edna Chapman of Marietta, OH, and Bertha Roberts of East Lake, OH; and 7 grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Artie Leona Wright, and Betty Koon; and a brother, Harold Vannoy.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Monday until time of services.
