JOHNSON-HUTSON ATTEND "TIE ONE ON FOR SAFETY" KICK-OFF

Shari Johnson and Terry Hutson attended the MADD West Virginia's Tie One On For Safety, Kick-Off at the Governor's Mansion on November 17th.

The "Tie One on For Safety" observance period. is observed during the holiday season from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day, and individuals are encouraged to tie a red ribbon in visible locations to remind everyone to drive sober this holiday season.

A Gubernatorial proclamation was presented during the reception by First Lady Gayle Manchin.

MADD is joining with the Governor's Highway Safety Program, the WV Commission on Drunk Driving Prevention, law enforcement, and other highway safety advocates to promote drunk driving prevention this holiday season.

Shari and Terry are directors of the Youth In Action programs in their local school to promote awareness of underage consumption issues in their counties.
