| Lela E. Mathess, 94, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008.
Lela was born to the late Rev. Jacob and Ola Snider on October 22, 1914 in Freed, West Virginia.
She was a 30 year member of Columbia Heights United Methodist Church and an active member of the Mary Circle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mathess.
She is survived by her sons, Gary (Pat), Donza (Wanda), Ronza (Sharrel), Keith (Mitzi), and Billy (Rachel) Mathess; sister Bernice Kral; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in Hoy Chapel, Freed, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will be in Saunders Cemetery.
