| Ellet Jarvis, Jr., 79, of Left Hand, West Virginia, died Saturday, November 15, 2008, in the CAMC - Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He was born April 26, 1929 at Tariff, a son of the late Ellet and Clara Valentine Jarvis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Danny R. Jarvis.
Mr. Jarvis was a retired pipefitter. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Local 396, Youngstown, Ohio. he was also a US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Jarvis of Left Hand; one son, Donnie Jarvis of Left Hand; three grandchildren, Eric Jarvis, Jamie Jarvis and Dawn Jarvis; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Otto Jarvis of Looneyville, WV and Fred Jarvis of Left Hand.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Richard Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Jarvis Cemetery, Left Hand.
Friends may call Tuesday one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
