Pleasant Hill School will celebrate ''Read to Me Day'' November 20.
The school is working with the Parent Education Resource Center (PERC). They have invited students from Calhoun High School to read to the Pleasant Hill students.
The high school students will represent different organizations they are involved in - athletics, honor society, band, and academic clubs.
Pleasant Hill will also host a ''Pie Social'' for all kindergarten students and their parents Wednesday, November 19 at 2 p.m.
Kindergarten will be making pilgrim costumes and parading throughout the school. Parents and students will also enjoy a tasty treat, followed by a presentation by the Parent Resource Center.
All kindergarten parents are encouraged to come. It will be a great time.
