School board president Cynthia Dale recognized the staff of Calhoun Middle-High School at Monday's board meeting for their efforts in grant writing.
Dale mentioned several grants that have been written, submitted and awarded.
- Homeless Tutoring Grant $25,000
- AP Vertical Math Team $30,000 (2 year grant)
- Professional Learning Community Grant $3,000
- Intramural Program Grant $5,000 (submitted)
Dale said "We really want to recognize staff members for their extra work in getting grants to help improve student achievement."
"We are putting on hold the changes with the Bullying, Harassment and Intimidation Policy and the Racial, Sexual, Religious/Ethnic Harassment, Violence and Hazing Policy, so Mr. Propst can review them," Dale said.
