ARNOLDSBURG, WV - Officials throughout Calhoun County are invited to gather Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Arnoldsburg Community Building to
discuss updates to current hazard mitigation plans. The purpose of the meeting is to re-visit the county's plan for pre-disaster activities and mitigation and of natural disasters such as repetitive flooding. This update is a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requirement, and counties must update their plans to secure funding should a natural disaster occur. The public is greatly encouraged to attend and provide input during this process.
