Region II, Section 1 runner up Calhoun County will face East Hardy in a Region II semi-final match tomorrow, Saturday, November 8 at South Harrison High School.
Section I Champion Doddridge County will face Moorefield at 12 noon. Calhoun's Lady Red Devils will begin play 30 minutes following the conclusion of the Doddridge/Moorefield match.
Calhoun played for the Sectional Championship Thursday night and was defeated by Doddridge 25-16, 25-17-, 25-18.
Leading scorers for Calhoun were Ashley Houchin with 7 points 3 aces and Jordan Mace with 7 points, 2 aces. Also scoring: Tessa Batten 6 points, 4 aces; Rochelle Gerwig 5 points, 2 aces, Savannah Church 3 points, 2 aces and Amber Wilford 1 points. Setting: Houchin was 48/50 with 9 assists. Hitting: Batten 11/12, 5 kills; Wilford 15/16, 2 kills; Church 11/13, 3 kills; Wilson 4/6, 1 kill; Mace 5/10, 1 kill; Samantha Church 2/2.
