Calhoun Middle School Cheerleaders will compete for the title of
CWVAC Champions November 11, at 6 p.m., at the Middle-High
School.
The school has the honor of hosting the competition this year.
The Calhoun girls have worked very hard to perfect their routine for the event.
Ten teams will compete for this year's title including, Calhoun, Spencer, Walton, Summersville, Wirt, Clay, Braxton, Richwood, Webster and Glade.
Concessions will be available thanks to the Calhoun Middle School Boosters and fans will be able to order pictures, videos or T-shirts to commemorate the event.
"We are hoping everyone will come out and support our goal for the trophy this year," said coaches Lynn Lane and Crystal Kendall.
2008-09 Calhoun Middle School Cheerleaders - 8th grade, Trisha Turner, Elle Webb, Danielle Kendall, Holly Bourne, Makayla Johnson, Marissa May, and Brittany Hannah; 7th grade, Chyenne Oshe; 6th grade, Rebecca Houchin and Josie Whipkey.
