Glenville, WV - Glenville State College will be hosting a pair of events in honor of America's Veterans. The GSC Office of Student Activities is sponsoring a free Veteran's Day Dinner on Friday, November 7th at 5:30 p.m. in the Ballroom of the Mollohan Campus Community Center. All area veterans and their spouse or date are invited to attend.
Major General John E. Barnette, Assistant Adjutant General of the West Virginia Army National Guard will be the guest speaker.
A Veteran's Day Remembrance ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 11th at the GSC War Memorial and flag pole on the Clark Hall lawn. The names of Glenville State College students, faculty, and staff that are veterans or currently serving in the military will be read. A wreath will also be placed at the memorial. Everyone is encouraged to attend and pay tribute to our Veterans and military personnel.
