| Ada V. Huffman, 86, of Walton, West Virginia, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at home, after an extended illness.
She was born at Kettle, Roane County, a daughter of the late John Benton and Eva Ashley Parsons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Holly Huffman; dear friend, Earl Lupardus; two sons, Bill and John Huffman.
Mrs. Huffman was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
Survivors include three sons, Roger, Eddie and Allen Huffman all of Walton; three daughters, Linda K. Epling of Coolville, OH, Diane Hinkle of Kingsport, TN and Sandy Miner of Sissonville, WV; one sister, Radie McGraw of Sandyville, WV; two brothers, Roy and Lewis Parsons both of Ripley, WV; 28 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, November 2 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Arnold Shaffer officiating. Burial will be in the Billy Hunt Cemetery, Walton.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 6-8 p.m.
