| Ernest Ray Whytsell, 74, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia died October 29, 2009 at Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
He was born April 7, 1934 in Calhoun County, WV a son of the late Fred and Vena Riggs Whytsell, Sr. He was retired from the maintenance department at Norandex Corporation in Bedford, Ohio with 28 years service.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Schreckengost Whytsell; on son, Gary Allen Whytsell of New Port Richey, Florida; three sisters, Vera Madeline Wagoner, Lola Moss, and Barbara Church all of Arnoldsburg; six brothers, Donald, Richard, Fred "Joe" Jr., Frank and Ben Whytsell all of Arnoldsburg and George Whytsell of Lewisville, Ohio; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Imogene and Laverne Whytsell, and Juanita Batten.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev. Rick Matheney officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. |
