Brooksville Baptist Church will once again be the Relay Center for the Calhoun area for Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection.
Last year 353 shoe boxes were delivered to the Collection Center in Parkersburg from our Relay Center. It would be wonderful to have 500 boxes this year to deliver.
Anyone needing an OCC Shoe box, or brochures with the necessary information about what can and cannot be put in a shoebox, as well as the envelope for the postage and personal information
about the person sending the box, can contact Rosemary McDonald, Relay Center Coordinator, at 354-9220.
Collection Week is November 17-24. The local Relay Center
will be open the following hours for collection:
Monday 10 a.m. to noon and 2-6 p.m.
Tuesday 2-6 p.m.
Wednesday 1-4 p.m.
Thursday 2-6 p.m.
Friday 2-6 p.m.
Saturday 1-4 p.m.
Sunday 2-4 p.m.
If you have not been involved in this wonderful ministry in the past, and would like information about it please contact Rosemary at the above number.
This is an opportunity to give a little Christmas to
children around the world who otherwise have no Christmas.
Samaritan's Purse uses this ministry to get the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these children as well.
In 2007 1,187,173 children received shoe boxes, completed the bible lessons offered, and there were 564,898 who received Christ as their Savior. In the past 8 years over 2 million
children have become believers.
We hope you will want to be a part of this by putting a few items in a shoebox and bringing it to Brooksville Baptist Church some time during the week of November 17-24, so that one more child will have the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Collection Week is November 17-23. The local Relay Center will be open the following hours for collection:
Monday 17th - 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Tuesday 18th - 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Wednesday 19th -6-9 p.m.
Thursday 20th - 6-9 p.m.
Friday 21st - 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday22nd - 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
