MAN STABS HIS MOTHER - Authorities have arrested a man after a stabbing in Morgantown. Joshua Whitehair, 20, reportedly stabbed his mother in the side during an argument in their house.
She was treated and released from Ruby Memorial Hospital.
At the time of the stabbing, Whitehair was free on bond, pending a previous malicious wounding arrest.
He is in the North Central Regional Jail on malicious wounding charges.
CHARLESTON MAN ARRESTED AFTER MULTIPLE STAB WOUNDS - A Charleston man is in jail after allegedly stabbing another man on an East End street following an argument.
Oscar Parker Jr., 49, of East Point Drive, cut Albert Fuller on the left side of Fuller's face and his right wrist, then he stabbed Fuller in the right forearm.
Fuller was cut with a folding Buck knife.
Parker was charged with malicious wounding and faces two to 10 years in prison.
WOMAN KILLED IN BEAUTY SALON - A woman was shot and killed inside of a Mercer County beauty salon.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a 39-year-old woman had been shot and killed.
Police later charged the woman's husband.
MORGANTOWN STABBING - Police say 22-year-old James Dailey Leach of Morgantown stabbed a 26-year-old male. Leach has been charged with malicious wounding.
The victim was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital.
SAVE-A-LOT HELD UP - Police are still looking for the man who robbed a Kenova grocery store Wednesday.
A cashier at the Save-a-Lot said a suspect came into the store around 9 p.m. wearing a ski mask and holding a gun.
Shannon Maynard says the man went straight to the office, knew the combination and then fled with 3 or 4 bundles of cash which he says was roughly $5,000.
The robbery took less than 20 seconds.
