Nancy J. Miller, 51, of Looneyville, died Monday, December 10, 2001, at home, after an
extended illness.
She was born september 30, 1950, at Newton. She was a nurses aid at the former Spencer
State Hospital and an in home health care provider for the elderly. She was a Christian.
Survivors include her companion, P.B. Steele of Looneyville; son, David Buchanan, II and his
wife Bridget of Spencer; a granddaughter, McKenzie Buchanan; mother and stepfather, Edith
and Melvin Martin of Spencer; two brothers, Gary Hathaway and Jack Linkinoggor both of
Spencer; two sisters, Eunice King of Spencer and Sue Jett of Looneyville.
A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, December 13 at 11 a.m. at the Slate
Cemetery, Spencer, with the reverend Kevin Randolph officiating.
Friends may call at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
