Apple butter stirrin', while there's a little dancin'
The annual Upper West Fork Park's Octoberfest was held under sunny skies at Chloe.
Saturday events included demonstrations in apple butter making, soap making, and "washing powder" making.
The parade wound its' way up Rt. 16 at 1 p.m. with Parade Marshals Bobbie Allen of Chloe and Evelyn King of Nicut.
Local musical groups performed, with the Hillbilly Stompers performing.
Friday evenings Mardi Gras Pageant was held, winners will be announced soon.
The event is a fundraiser for the park.
