Fire erupted in a south Grantsville mobile home yesterday evening, filling the dwelling with smoke and causing the two occupants to flee.
The owner of the mobile home used a fire extinguisher on the flames, but the fire still spread to the ceiling as the Grantsville VFD arrived shortly after 5:30 p.m.
Firemen spent a considerable amount of time getting into the fire and applying water.
Smoke could be seen coming from the structure.
The fire was put out, with the extent of the damages unavailable.
Calhoun EMS also responded to the scene.
