| A 16-year-old girl, reportedly a student at Calhoun High School, was injured in what was described as a fight at the Mt. Zion Pit Stop yesterday evening at 3:42 p.m.
The youth reportedly received facial injuries after being struck by another female teen. She was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System by Calhoun EMS for treatment.
About two hours later, according to a report, the incident flared again at Minnie Hamilton, reportedly involving family members or friends involved in the disagreement.
Authorities are looking into what appeared to be assault and battery.
