Nora M. Digman Blackwell, 68, of Waverly, passed away Sept. 20, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Jun. 11, 1940, in Calhoun County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Dale and Leatha Brookover Digman. She was a nurse's aide, a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church, and she enjoyed cooking and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Blackwell; two sons, Will Blackwell and wife, Tracy, of Vienna and Johnny Blackwell of Parkersburg; one daughter, Angie Lingo of Toledo, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Daniel, Jimmy, Megan, Nathan, Ryan, Brittany and Jeremiah; three great-grandchildren, Issac, Mayling and Bailey; one brother, Larry Digman of Fla.; and one sister, Jean Vincent of Parkersburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Mark Snyder and Jackie Blackwell; and one sister, Sue Digman.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Jon Lands officiating. Entombment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
