The Calhoun High School Volleyball team opened their 2008 season by hosting the visiting Doddridge Lady Bulldogs.
Calhoun Junior Varsity team won the first game, of the best of three match, 25-22. However Doddridge won the next two 25-9, 26-24 to claim the win.

Calhoun Varsity traveled to Clay September 4 to participate in a tri with Clay and Nicholas. Clay defeated Calhoun 25-14, 25-15 in the first match of the evening.
