The Gilmer County Economic Development Association plans to honor several local businesses and civic organizations with a dinner at 6 p.m. Tuesday September 23 at the Gilmer County Senior Center.
Invitations have been mailed to invite local business owners and civic group leaders.
If you own a business or are a leader in a local civic organization and was accidentally omitted and did not receive an invitation you can contact Mary Lee McPherson 462-7039 or Donna Waddell 462-7545 by September 12 for a reservation.
GCEDA has planned a dinner, with guest speakers on economic development and door prizes.
The business honorees are Panther Primitives, WACO Oil and Gas, Jones Cabin Run Vineyards, Tomblin's Service Station and Gil-Co Faith Pharmacy.
Organizations include Gilmer County Volunteer Fire Department and Support Group, Gilmer County Recreation Center, Glenville Lions Club, WV State Folk Festival and the Gilmer County Farm Bureau. |
