Evelyn J. Hersman, 88, most recently of Milton and Barboursville,
died November 30, 2001, at St. Marys Hospital, Huntington.
She was born June 9, 1913, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Everett and
Pearl Smith Kerby. She formerly resided in Spencer and Millwood.
Survivors include two daughters; two brothers, Hubert Kerby and Warren ''Bud''
Kerby, both of Calhoun County; and four sisters, including Velma Prine of Ripley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hugh Hersman.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood.
