Brooks Webb, 77, of Spencer, WV, died Monday, December 3, 2001 in CAMC-General Division,
Charleston, WV.
He was born May 10, 1924 at Clover, a son of the late James and Elizabeth Ferrell Webb. He
was a retired pipe fitter and a 45 year member of the Pipe Liner's Union, Local 798, Tulsa, OK.
He was an Army Veteran of W.W.II, a 1942 graduate of Spencer High School and a
Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Haught Webb of Spencer; daughters, Aretta Mills of Spencer
and Rita Webb of Salisbury, MD; a son, Terry Webb of Spencer; a sister, Roberta Smith of
Spencer; six grandchildren, Craig and Andrew Jurkovich, Belinda Webb, Aterra, Alyssa and Allie
Mills.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Basil Webb.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 5 at 1 p.m. at the John H. Taylor
Funeral Home, Spencer. Reverend Leon B. Strickland will officiate. Burial will be in the Clover
Cemetery, Clover, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
