| Richard A White, 51 of Palestine, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, August 19 2008 at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Parkersburg WV after an extended illness.
He was born November 2, 1956 in Elizabeth, West Virginia, a son of the late Ralph A. White and Floda (Hanna) Amburgey. He was employed several years for BF Goodrich and previous employers, Bill Ward Wrecker Service and Wirt Inflatables in Elizabeth. He was a 1975 Wirt County High School graduate He loved farming and being around horses, and coon hunting.
He is survived by his mother Floda Amburgey of Mineral Wells WV; one brother, Ron (Tammy) White of Spencer WV; 3 sisters, Nancy Moneypenny of Akron Ohio, Anita (Allan) Burdette of Ravenswood WV, and Diane (Byron) Murdock of Spencer WV; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother Randy (Pup) White.
Visitation will be Friday, August 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV. Burial will be at a later date.
