Wesley William Cummings, of Newton, WV, died December 1, 2001, at home, after
an extended illness.
Mr. Cummings was a retired carpenter. He attended the Rogers Fork Baptist
Church.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Taylor; brothers, Robert and
Richard Cummings.
Mr. Cummings is survived by his daughters, Donna Lesher of Texas, Debra L.
Cummings of New Hope, Ala., Teresa L. Morton of Maysel, WW, Pamela S.
Lytle of Left Hand, WV, Robin L. Shamblin of Arnoldsburg, WV, Diane D.
Cummings of Left Hand, WV, and Christina R. Wilson of Spencer, WV;
sons, John Wesley Cummings of Left Hand, and James Wesley Cummings, also
of Left Hand; sisters, Emma McKinney of Newton,, Della Burton of Mt.
Zion, WV, Rosie Starcher of Mt. Zion; twenty-three grandchildren, and two
great grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, Clay,
WV. with Minister Clarence McKown officiating. Burial will follow at the
Cummings Cemetery at Procious, WV .
Friends may call Monday, December 3 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Clay
from 6 to 9 p.m.
