Calhoun has a new Conservation Officer, Bryce Scarbro, formerly of Clendenin.
Scarbro, who has prior experience in law enforcement with the Braxton County Sheriff's Department and the State Police, began his duties in the county on August 1st.
He has a four-year degree in criminal justice from WV State University, and has a two-year degree from Marshall University.
Scarbro is planning on moving to the county and is currently looking for a place to rent.
